What a privilege it was to share the hope of Christ's resurrection and the Lord's supper with the congregation at Freedom Valley Christian Center in Carpuela, which is located in the Chota Valley several hours northeast of Quito and approximately an hour and a half from the Colombian border.
The traditional sounds of the scripture-based worship songs and cultural dance were joyful and uplifting. It was a delightful time of communion and fellowship.
