A Kindhearted Stranger

With my term is speeding to an end, there are many projects and last minute chores that occupy my time. One of the tasks on my list is packing and moving the Global University ministry. God has provided a miraculous transition plan and so friends are helping with the packing and preparations for the move.

Unfortunately, finding boxes has become one of my most difficult chores. Several days in succession, I headed to local grocery stores with this goal in mind. At the first store, they put them into a shopping cart and wheeled them out for me, but at the second they laid them on an empty register and let me help myself.

As I was nearing my STL Jeep with the flattened boxes in my arms, I began to wonder how I would get the door open with my arms full. A lady walking my direction called out asking if I needed help at the exact moment my load began to shift, causing me to lose control of my burden. The kind stranger helped me gather up the boxes and wrestle them into the car. What a blessing that God allowed a kindhearted stranger to come precisely at the moment of my need.

In the remaining month of my term, there are innumerable tasks on my “to do” list. Please pray God would help me leave completed tasks and fulfilled responsibilities in order to finish well!
